Writing SEO Blog Posts with AI Without Sounding Like a Robot
How to use AI for research and drafting while keeping the voice and expertise that Google rewards.
Search engines have become very good at spotting thin, generic content. A post that repeats what ten other pages say, in the same order, rarely ranks for long. AI can still help, as long as you use it for the right parts.
Start from search intent
Before writing, decide what the reader actually wants. Someone searching "best running shoes for flat feet" wants a short list with reasons, not a history of running shoes.
Use AI for the outline
Ask for an outline that covers what the top results cover, plus two angles they miss. Then rearrange it based on your own experience.
Write the opening yourself
Open with a specific situation, not a definition. Your experience is the part nobody else can copy.
Edit out AI habits
Delete words like "delve", "crucial", "landscape" and "moreover". Vary sentence length. Use contractions. Read it out loud.
Add real proof
Photos you took, numbers from your own work, a quote from a customer. Mark any statistic you cannot source and either find the source or remove it.
Finish with useful extras
A short FAQ, a comparison table and links to related posts help readers and search engines. Our free SEO article prompt follows this process step by step.
